  • We do extensive research on brands to offer with imprint-collective, and only partner with those we can be confident are trustworthy. Read more about the reasons we’ve decided to partner with IOAN ~

The more local a supply chain, the more sustainable. It allows for economic growth within the workers own community and more of an investment in the health of the land and those that live there. IOAN grows their cotton and sews their clothing at the same location in Tamil Nadu, India.

It is important, especially as a consumer in the USA, to consider the local impacts of the products that we buy to really make a change under capitalism - i.e. - supply should meet demand - instead of the other way around.

India has long been taken advantage of by our capitalist machine - dealing with toxic runoff, water shortages, and pesticide pollution. In the current economic system a businesses responsibility ends after purchase - and we’re committed to doing better - working only with artists & businesses that demonstrate a higher purpose.

IOAN grows their organic cotton in 3 colors, and uses these colors in their designs without the aid of bleaches or dyes. Organic cotton retains water more efficiently - preserving the local ecosystem and providing cleaner working & living conditions.

It is important when considering where to source our clothing we understand the supply chain and how it impacts the livelihood of the artisans who make it. We must be invested in the happiness of workers, as this is a major part of the healthiness of our planet.

  • Cotton is a naturally moisture-wicking and breathable fiber. It is great as an underlayer - keeping you dry and cool - and will not irritate the skin.
