Salida Art Walk
For more than 22 years in a row, visitors from throughout the Rocky Mountain region will converge on Salida, CO, in late June for the mountain town’s eagerly awaited “Salida ArtWalk” weekend.
Salida’s numerous galleries, businesses and restaurants will feature area artists, performers and crafts persons in three days of festive art and musical events, artist receptions, live demonstrations and entertainment of all kinds. Galleries will feature special shows by leading regional artists, and visitors can meet many of the artists in person and learn about their work.
A variety of ArtWalk fun abounds for the whole family: street events, gallery entertainment and demonstrations, and special events such as horse-drawn wagon rides, Salida Circus stilt walkers, theater productions, street musicians, symphonic concerts, and more. Many visitors also will want to avail themselves of the scenic mountain town’s considerable natural attractions, such as river rafting, fishing, hiking, bicycling, etc.
A popular highlight of ArtWalk is the silent auction of collectible “Miniature Masterpieces” — small, original works of art donated by local artists and prized by collectors. The bidding starts Friday with a reception at the riverside Salida SteamPlant Annex, and continues through Saturday until noon. Art patrons can place silent auction bids or claim “Buy It Now” favorites at uniquely affordable prices. Park Hill Studio Tour
A two-day event featuring Park Hill's wide array of artists and makers, free and open to the public. Pick up a map at The Art Garage (6100 E 23rd Ave) and embark on a self guided tour of local artist studios, meet the artists, and shop for original artworks directly from the creators!

Mountain and Valley Fiber Arts Festival
An outstanding regional animal and other natural fiber market featuring juried artist vendors offering natural fibers, yarns, finished products, and fiber arts-related tools and equipment, as well as other natural fiber creations. Visit with animals including sheep, alpacas, goats, llamas, and more. Attend workshops and demonstrations focused on fiber arts techniques delivered by outstanding instructors.
Salida Studio Tour
Visit artists at work during the annual Salida Studio Tour! This is your chance to meet Salida artists and step inside their unique studios. You will learn about painting, printmaking, clock making, woodturning, sculpting, metal working, mosaics, glasswork, fiber art and so much more. Find great art to buy, learn about art classes, and see cool ways to set up an art studio. All studios are open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th, 2026.

Estes Park Wool Market
Family events aren't much better than this - hands-on activities, fuzzy, approachable animals, entertaining performances, and shopping for Mom and Dad. Those familiar with the wool and fiber industry know this event, held at the Estes Park Events Complex (1125 Rooftop Way), is the place to be. The mission of the Estes Park Wool Market is to bring together natural animal fiber producers, educators, retailers and consumers for the benefit of the industry.
